Music Grants

Most of our efforts pertaining to the music program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them.

We welcome applications from individuals ages 4-25 who have an inherent talent and gift in the music field but do not have the resources to obtain an instrument and lessons to take them to the next level.

A. Music lessons
B. Musical instrument (drums/percussion, guitar, trumpet, saxophone, keys, violin, and other instruments)
C. Vocal lessons

All grants subject to availability and the selection process.

Education

We see every challenge as an opportunity, and this initiative helps us ensure that our partners are better prepared to manage the unique situations they find themselves in. We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community and delivers the support they need when they need it.

Community Outreach

Through our Community Development, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at the Darryn J Benjamin Foundation, and a source of much success for our Non-Profit Organization.

Instrument of Hope Event-Annual Celebration

The foundation will host an annual event on or around August 10th every year. This will be a day to remember the legacy of Darryn J Benjamin. The two-hour event will feature an evening of worship with various Christian artists and an opportunity for some of our music grant recipients to participate alongside.

If you wish to donate an instrument, please bring it to any of our drop-off sites. We will gladly accept instruments that are new and some gently used or in good condition. All donated instruments will be refurbished and inspected before they are awarded to our recipients. We want to give out quality instruments.
